Texas Parks & Wildlife Department – Coastal Fisheries Division will be hosting a series of coastwide public scoping meetings to discuss potential changes to existing fishery regulations. At the meetings TPWD will be scoping several items for the upcoming 2009 statewide hunting and fishing proclamation process. TPWD is considering changes in the current flounder, shark and reef fish regulations. Additionally TPWD will present a new, simpler process for kayak guides to receive certification. You are invited to attend and provide comments.

The meeting in Rockport will be January 14, 2009 at 6 pm at the Aransas County Courtroom at 301 N. Live Oak.

Captain Angell Fishing Report

Went out for a little while this mourning, Free lining shrimp along the canal. Alot of fish on drop off. I will be going to Fort Worth soon To see my Daughters. Merry Christmas.
